The family of Brother Gary Moses has launched a writing project called Dear Brother Gary, inviting the community to send handwritten letters of love, memories, and encouragement as he undergoes medical care.

For decades, Brother Gary has been a ray of sunshine across the Crossroads. If you’ve ever met Brother Gary, you know he has always offered nothing but encouragement, prayers, and acceptance to anyone who crossed his path.

Now, his family is asking Victoria to return that love.

They’re requesting physical letters only, not emails or social media posts, so Brother Gary can see and hold each message. The letters will be collected by his family and read aloud to him, helping him stay connected to the community he loves so deeply during this tender time.

Your letter can include anything you feel moved to share.

Here are a few ideas to get you started:

How he supported you or showed up for you in a meaningful way
Something you want to thank him for
A story that has stayed with you over the years
Words of encouragement, prayer, or love
