If every day felt like Dog Days of Summer, I’d be livin’ the dream.

Aero Crafters threw down a night so good, it felt like a fever dream for dog lovers, and I say that as a certified crazy dog lady. The launch of this new monthly event brought out the funnest, furriest crowd in town.

There were look-alike contests, dog-and-human races (yes, while holding drinks), and even a surprise dog trick show-and-tell that had me questioning my own dog's laziness. (Seriously, if there’s no cheese involved, my dog won’t even blink.)

Dogs showed up and showed out, revealing some of the extra outfits a dog could have. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any more ridiculous, in the best way possible, medals were handed out, including the very serious “Certified Menace” award- awarded to the most rambunctious dog that night(we're looking at you, Cooper.)

Local vendors set up shop, and every half hour, someone walked away with a random door prize just for showing up. We even managed to raise nearly $700 in 2 hours for Victoria County Animal Service.

And the fun isn’t over. Dog Days of Summer is happening every third Thursday right here at Aero Crafters all summer long.

The next one? Let’s just say it involves a human slot machine, even more antics, and probably a few howling contests (intentional or not).

Mark your calendar, tell your group chat, and bring your pup, whether they do tricks or just look cute. This is the kind of tail-wagging chaos we live for.
