Dogs ran, drinks were spilled, prizes were won, and now, Victoria County Animal Services (VCAS) has a little extra love coming their way.

After a wildly fun kickoff to Dog Days of Summer at Aero Crafters, a donation of $680 was proudly presented to VCAS. Every single cent was raised from the community that came out to paw-ty for 2 hours.

If you missed it, here’s what went down: Dogs and their humans took over the Aero Crafters patio for a night of dog-themed drinks, races, and chaotic fun. Contests included a boozy short-distance race (yes, owners had to run with a drink in hand), a pup/owner look-a-like contest, and door prizes every 30 minutes.

Vendors from all over the Crossroads set up shop with dog gear, pet art, and products specifically for dog lovers. Every vendor donated items for door prizes that were given out every 30 minutes.

This is exactly the kind of community turnout we hoped for. People showed up ready to have fun and support a great cause, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

📢 Missed it? Don’t worry. We're doing it all over again.

The next Dog Days of Summer is Thursday, June 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Aero Crafters. In fact, Dog Days of Summer will be every 3rd, all summer long!

More contests. More prizes. More chaos. The next round is Pawcasso with a hint of luck. We're breaking out a one-of-a-kind HUMAN SLOT MACHINE. We'd try and explain but it's one of those things you got to see for yourself.

Bring yourself, bring your kids, bring your friends, and most importantly, bring your pup!
