Another Coffee Shop Is Coming to Victoria

When one coffee shop door closes, another one opens.

There’s three things Victoria has an abundance of: Dollar Generals, mexican restaurants, and coffee shops. Just as one local favorite coffee shop closed its doors, plans for a new coffee shop just dropped.

A permit has officially been filed for Ellianos Coffee, bringing a brand-new drive-thru coffee shop to Airline Road near Navarro.

According to state filings, Ellianos plans to construct a compact, roughly 800-square-foot building at 605 E Airline Road will likely be designed as a double-sided drive-thru kiosk. We’re not looking at another sit-down and sip coffee shop, which is great because we already have some fabulous local favorites scattered around town. Instead, expect this to be a grab-and-go drive-thru.

If you’ve never been to Ellianos before, their whole model is fast espresso drinks, freezer-blended coffees, smoothies, and “in-and-out” service. It’s a great option when you need something quick or just don’t want to get down and order.

Construction is expected to start within the next month. After everything is said and done, they are expecting to be completely finished in October 2026.

The project is estimated at around $700,000, and once finished, it’ll add yet another stop along Victoria’s already busy Airline/Navarro area. As much as I love our local spots like The Box Coffee and Gardenhouse, having another drive-thru option is a great addition.

It’s kind of perfect timing, because while we were all just hit with the news of Kauve Coffee shutting down, having another begin building from the ground up helps ease the sting.

Victoria doesn’t stay uncaffeinated for long, thank goodness.
