Are They Really Making a FarmVille Movie?
Get your crops ready, hayseeds — there might be a FarmVille movie coming. As one of the most popular video games probably ever, the scourge of Facebook is about to hit the silver screen thanks to screenwriters Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen.
The duo previously developed ‘Toy Story,’ ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’ and both live-action ‘Garfield’ flicks, among other family-friendly pictures.
How exactly Hollywood will turn the simple social game — in which players run a farm, grow crops and raise animals for points — into a feature film is the big question. When your mom will stop sending you FarmVille requests is the bigger question.
