Food Bank of the Golden Crescent Volunteer Day March 14th
Nearly 30,000 residents of the Golden Crescent area, with more than half being children and our seniors, are counting on the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent each week to get nutritious food they need and otherwise wouldn't be able to afford. They are counting on you to ensure nobody is turned away.
On March 14th from 8 am to 12 pm, the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent, located at 3809 E Rio Grande St. invites you and your family and friends to come volunteer and see what the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent is all about, as well as learning more about how and who they serve. Could you ever had imagined 30,000 in our area?
"Come join us and support the efforts to feed our neighbors in the Golden Crescent area. Be a food bank volunteer," offers the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent.
.
Every $1 donated helps us provide 8 meals. It’s as simple as making a pledge to help your neighbors in need. The "I live here, I give here" pledge says that you care about your community. Thousands of families and individuals depend on the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent every month for their daily meals. That’s thousands of hungry seniors. Hungry children. Hungry single working parents.
