COLD WEATHER CAMPING AT RIVERSIDE
Hey Crossroads, it's officially camping weather!
Have you been looking for something new to do with your kids in the Crossroads? Well, how about a free camp out at Riverside Park? Victoria Parks and Recreation will take care of the tent, the food, and the entertainment!
And hello, SMORES are included too!
Thanks to Victoria Parks and Recreation, the Crossroads will have a chance to get out and enjoy the cool fall weather by roasting s’mores, watching “Shrek” and camping under the stars!
Now is your chance to do "something" new and different in Victoria!
The latest campout hosted by Victoria Parks and Recreation will be Nov. 6-7 in Riverside Park by the intersection of Bluff Street and Red River Street.
It's free but registration is encouraged. You can also RENT A TENT!
The event is free, but registration is encouraged. Campers may bring their own tents or reserve a tent with a $25 refundable deposit while supplies last. To register or to reserve a tent, visit www.victoriatx.gov/registration or call 361-485-3200.
Campers can begin arriving at 3:30 p.m. At 6 p.m., dinner that includes the ultimate camp-out food- hot dogs- will be served and materials for roasting s’mores will be provided.
After dinner, Shrek will begin playing at about 7 p.m.
It might be the very easiest camping trip you could ever take with your kids and it's all right here at Riverside Park!
