An incredibly racially-fueled video was posted online criticizing Indian people in Frisco, Texas.

A video posted online about Indian people in Frisco, Texas, has sparked a huge argument on social media. The clip, posted by @info_maiden on X, shows a woman saying there were “hardly any Americans” in the store last weekend and that it was “full of Indians" as she filmed walking through the store in Frisco.

SPEAKNG OUT AGAINST THE POST

Other users quickly called out the video as racist and unfair. Many people pointed out that immigrants, including Indian Americans, live, work, and pay taxes in the community.

One Instagram account run by an NRI (non-resident Indian) spoke out against the post.

“Yes, we’re visible at Costco. Because we live here. We work here. We raise our kids here. We follow the rules. We pay taxes,” the reply said. “Frisco is home to 36% Indian Americans now, that’s not a threat. That’s diversity. That’s a contribution.”

The account also shared that many H-1B visa holders come to the U.S. to build a better future, not to erase anyone’s culture. The argument has now turned into a bigger conversation about diversity, immigration, and how quickly the South Asian population is growing in North Texas.
