What Happens When You Fire a Gun Underwater (in Slow Motion)
We've never actually wondered what would happen if you fired a gun underwater, but now that we can see it, obviously we'd really like to find out.
Here the Slow Mo guys have set up their swimming pool to film firing a gun underwater at 27,000 frames per second. To give you an idea of how slowed down that is, the standard rate of frames per second in film is 24. So this is more than 1,000 times slower. Pretty cool, although we don't recommend firing off a few rounds in your own pool.
