Okay, be honest—are we still trick-or-treating house-to-house, or has the convenient trunk-or-treat completely taken over?

As Halloween creeps around, it feels like every parking lot, church, and school is hosting one of these events, and we’ve gotta know: how many trunk-or-treats does Victoria really need? Are we headed toward a trunk-or-treat-per-block situation here?

At this rate, it’s like they’re multiplying faster than Dollar Generals! And you know how it is with Dollar Generals—they’re popping up faster than we can count, almost like they’re in a competition to blanket every inch of town.

THE TRUNK OR TREAT BOOM TAKES OVER VICTORIA

Here’s the real question: has this trunk-or-treating boom made it easier or harder for kids to rake in the candy? Sure, it’s all in one place, and you’re skipping the terrifying haunted lawns and potential dog encounters, but are kids missing out on that full Halloween experience? Are they even getting their full-size bar workout going from house to house, or has the “candy haul” become just a few parked cars away?

So, seriously, what’s the deal? Do you even trick-or-treat anymore, or have these trunk-based events completely taken over the Halloween scene in Victoria? Or maybe it’s all about balancing both: hit a couple of neighborhood streets, then head to a trunk-or-treat for the real candy jackpot.

I'm all about nostalgia, so I think the traditional feet-to-the-floor route, going door-to-door is the way to go!
