3 Houston Teens Chase Mom with Knife For Turning Off Wi-Fi
It’s official: the Wi-Fi struggle has hit a terrifying new low. Three teenagers in West Harris County were arrested Monday morning after allegedly trying to kill their own mother: for turning off the internet.
According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, deputies were called to a home after reports of a violent domestic disturbance. When they arrived, they discovered that three siblings, ages 14, 15, and 16, had allegedly gone into full-blown rage after their mom cut off their access to Wi-Fi.
The lack of access to the internet sent the teens into an unbelievable amount of fury provoking them to do the unthinkable.
Teens Viciously Attack Their Mother
According to Sheriff Gonzalez, the three teens grabbed kitchen knives and began to chase their mother through the house and into the street. At some point, she was even hit with a brick.
And if that wasn’t horrifying enough, their grandma got knocked down while trying to protect their mother. Thankfully, neither woman suffered serious injuries.
All three teens were arrested and are now facing felony charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Let that sink in, felony charges over Wi-Fi!
As of now, no further details have been released, but maybe there's a moral to the story: don’t cut the Wi-Fi, but also, maybe don’t try to kill your own mom over it.
