Here's When the Pumpkin Spice Latte Might Return to Starbucks

We're now halfway through August, and fall lovers are eagerly waiting for news from Starbucks about when the coveted Pumpkin Spice Latte will return.

Based on release dates from years past, people all over the internet have been trying to guess when the exact date will be this year. And employees at local Starbucks locations across the nation have been dropping major hints on social media. Some baristas have even posted that the pumpkin spice has been delivered to stores already.

But as of Wednesday, August 15, Starbucks has not officially released any information about the return of its Pumpkin Spice Latte or any other fall drinks and seasonal menu items. The global coffee chain based out of Seattle is still promoting its summer menu on its official social media accounts.

Customers have enjoyed Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks for over 20 years.

Last year, Starbucks celebrates the 20th anniversary of its Pumpkin Spice Latte. The announcement about the anniversary also included the release date for when the drink and other fall menu items would return stores, which was August 24, 2023.

USA Today put together a list of past dates the Pumpkin Spice Latte returned to stores within the last six years.

All of those dates are towards the end of August, so based on these dates, USA Today concluded that this year, the Pumpkin Spice Latte return to Starbucks could either be Thursday, August 22 OR Tuesday, August 27.
