Titan Junior Bentley Blinka is Our Athlete & Scholar of the Week

Congratulations Bentley Blinka! He is the Victory GMC Student-Athlete of the Week and he is awesome!

Bentley Blinka, a junior at Victoria East High School, is being recognized by Victory GMC for his outstanding performance on and off the field.

This means that Bentley was gifted a $50 card to spend at his leisure but now qualifies for a chance to win one of two $1250.00 scholarships as a way for Victory GMC to say congratulations for being such an awesome young man!

Let's start with off the field accolades!

East Titan Bentley Blinka manages to keep a top priority and maintains an A-B honor roll while taking AP and honors classes.

He will be inducted into the prestigious National Honor Society in April.

On the field, he was named TX Hitter of the Week by Prep Baseball Texas and 5ATxHSBaseball, batting 1.000 with 3 doubles, 2 triples, and 10 RBIs over three games.

That's outstanding Bentley.

When Bentley was nominated, is was written that not only is Bentley a team player with a love for the game and his team, he is also a devoted brother, son, and friend.

So what's next for this outstanding young man? Well, this summer, Bentley will play with the Texas Twelve Organization and check this out... he will also be attending the Area Code Tryouts for the Texas Rangers Scout Team at Texas A&M University too!
