Online Buzz: Victoria Is Getting A Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen
Like most Victoria residents, I have seen post after post on social media about Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen coming to Victoria, so I did some digging. And we can now confirm that, yes, Cheddar's is coming to Victoria and will be located at 6704 Zac Lentz Parkway, in front of Home Depot and Boot Barn.
Here's what we know so far:
- Cheddar's is currently taking bids for construction in Victoria.
- Construction should start around June 2026
- Estimated time of completion: by the end of 2026

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen is the latest announcement of new businesses coming to Victoria. Earlier this month, Ulta Beauty and Burlington opened up. Later this month, Five Below will open its doors. Also, on the north side of town, people are patiently waiting for Dave's Hot Chicken to break ground. Are they still coming to Victoria?

Another business is getting ready to open its doors at the corner of Airline and John Stockbauer. The new McDonald's has come up really fast and is just about complete. There is no official word on opening day. However, my guess is it will be open in a couple of weeks.
There is also a sign up on the other side of that intersection at Airline and Stockbauer that states another big-name gas station is coming to town. We will wait and see what that becomes.
