
The Fourth Of July Is An All-Day Celebration in Victoria
The Fourth of July is right around the corner. This year, Victoria will not only be celebrating the Fourth of July, but also America's 250 birthday, which means a big-time celebration on Saturday, July 4.
Victoria's Fourth of July celebration will start in the morning on Saturday, July 4.
Victoria's Fourth of July celebration will kick off with the America 250 Parade at 10 a.m. in downtown Victoria around De Leon Plaza. The Victoria Parks & Recreation Department is currently accepting parade participants and patriotic-themed entries to be part of this special community event.
After the parade, there is fun scheduled for the afternoon at DeLeon Plaza including hot dogs and family-friendly activities.
The Fourth of July fireworks will take place at the Victoria Community Center.
The fireworks blastoff will be back that the Victoria Community Center fairgrounds and will feature live music by LC Rocks. There will also be activities for all ages and food and drink vendors. Fireworks will start around dusk, usually around 9 p.m.
Also happening this summer in Victoria is Night Tunes.
Night Tunes is a free summer concert series that will happen once a month from June through September. They will take place on Friday nights and showtime will be from 7-10 p.m. Enjoy the live music, inflatables and more. Get out and support live music. Here is of the schedule of performers.
