Yes, you read the title correctly! A mountain lion was sighted in a Frisco, Texas backyard last week. Video was taken last week showed an animal on the prowl.  The video was sent to wildlife experts and they confirm that this was an actual mountain lion.

@cbsnewstexas What would you do if you saw this in your backyard? It is rare to see a mountain lion in North Texas, but this Frisco resident caught one on camera, according to a Texas Parks and Wildlife expert. #mountainlion #bigcat #wildlifephotography #cbstexas ♬ original sound - CBS News Texas

Mountain are seen from time to time in West Texas, but this is only the second confirmed sighting of one in Collin County (where Frisco is)  within the last few decades. The good things is there is no need for concern. They also say this area doesn't make a good habitat for the animal, so it's likely already moved on.

CBS News talked to Brent Blackwell and he tells the news outlet...

"When I woke up, I had a notification so I checked it and I watched it again just like that, a bobcat," he said. "And so then I like zoomed in and you could see the really long tail. And that's when I was like, that's no bobcat."
