Tip A Cop Fundraiser Raises Over $4,700 For The Special Olympics

Last night was the annual Tip-a-Cop promotion at the Texas Roadhouse in Victoria. Our friends from the Victoria Police Department and the Victoria County Sheriff's Office joined forces with the service staff at Texas Roadhouse to serve guests.

All proceeds that were raised went to the Special Olympics.  For those of you who don't know, the Special Olympics offers 30-plus Olympic-style sports that provide meaningful training and competition opportunities for persons with intellectual disabilities.

Last night's final tally was over $4700 in donations. The Victoria Police Department and Sheriff's Office are always ready to serve their community and have some fun with Texas Roadhouse.
