The City of Victoria has big plans to share the history of our community having given community members an opportunity to share their memories earlier this year. Soon, you'll be able to learn all about our community's personal stories and connections to our great city!

The City will display residents’ memorabilia at City Hall throughout the bicentennial year. Each display will be centered on a theme:

  • January-February: Our Multicultural Heritage
  • March-April: Happy Anniversary!
  • May-June: Legendary Victoria Sports
  • July-August: Festivals, Food & Fun
  • September-October: Back to School
  • November-December: The Holidays in Victoria

The Convention & Visitors Bureau also partnered with the City of Victoria Communications & Public Affairs to film “Victoria Stories,” a series of oral histories about Victoria. The series will feature interviews with residents sharing their experiences and memories of life in Victoria.
