When “Pawn Stars” Made Big Purchase From South Texas Resale Shop

Just in case you didn't know, last year the TV Show "Pawn Stars" made an offer for an item from the Habitat ReStore in Victoria Texas. In an episode, James Fikac, the manager at Habitat ReStore, was invited to travel to Austin to meet with the stars of the TV reality show Pawn Stars.

This was a spin-off, ‘Pawn Stars Do America.' In the episode we learn, that the ReStore was the beneficiary of a late 1930’s Larson Brother’s Euphonon jumbo acoustic guitar which was ultimately purchased on the show for $7,000. I have always said, you never know what you will find at these kind of places. The proceeds were used to build homes in our Community. This episode ran during season 1 of "Pawn Stars Do America" episode 7 about 31 minutes into the episode.  Click here to watch!

BIG FIND AT GOODWILL:

I have always said, that you never know what you are going to find if you go to resale shops or garage sales. Here is one amazing example from last month!  A social media post from the Dallas Texas TV Facebook page told us of a  Houston woman who found her 'dream' couch for only $129.00. It turns out that the couch ended up being worth up to $4000.00 and thanks to elbeelondon on TikTok, we get to see the whole story.
