Zoocade, The First Holographic Zoo In The United States, Opens in Texas
A new zoo has opened in Texas and it brings a never before seen experience with it. It also brings a new way to interact with the exhibits at this zoo.
It's called Zoocade, and it's located in Austin, Texas. Zoocade is the first holograhic zoo in the United States and of course the first in Texas. According to the Dallas Morning News, the attraction features a tunnel that is more than 60-feet. The tunnel is holographic and those who are visiting wear 3D glasses to view the exhibit.
According to the owners, as you walk through the exhibit, images change. There are also three different themed shows that last anywhere from 20-25 minutes.
One of the shows focuses on animals found in Africa with holographic lions, elephants, giraffes and more according to the Dallas Morning News. Another show focuses on the animals of Australia with images of kangaroos, crocodiles, and more. And the final show, for kids of all ages is about Dinosaurs.
Tickets start at $25 per person and there are some packages that include arcade games.
There are other holographic zoos in other parts of the world. Those include zoos in China, Australia, and Canada. And Zoocade in Austin may just be the beginning here in Texas. The Dallas Morning News reported that owners are looking at expanding in Texas.
