Justin Bieber has a history of loving robots, and now he’s on his way to becoming one. His hit single, ‘Boyfriend,’ received the remix treatment from Dada Life.

The mix has the house feel you’d expect from the Swedish DJ duo. It’s ‘Boyfriend’ with a more danceable beat and lots of echoes and robotic vocal effects. The dance vibe of the track is more evocative of Bieber’s work with Far East Movement on ‘Live My Life’ than anything we’d expect to hear on his own sophomore effort, ‘Believe.’ The original track has a more Justin Timberlake-style sound and established the 18-year-old superstar as a grown up artist

‘Believe’ is slated to hit shelves June 19 features the original ‘Boyfriend,‘ as well as rumored collaborations with Cody Simpson, Drake, Taylor Swift and Lil Wayne.

Dada Life’s remix is only the most recent for Biebs. ‘Boyfriend’ got a pretty hilarious — and awesome — hip-hop remix from the Ying Yang Twins previously.

While hardcore Beliebers would listen to just about anything associated with their golden boy’s name, casual fans may find the remix polarizing depending on whether they’re also fans of house tracks. Take a listen below!
