It's pretty cool when you see someone from your area compete on a worldwide stage in a major sporting event, and that's exactly what local car dealer Ben Keating did over the weekend.

Racing an LMP2 Riley MK-30 Gibson, Keating Motorsports finished 48th in the 24-hour endurance race, running a total of 312 laps in 24 hours, 4 minutes, and just over 3 seconds. The team had to overcome a spinout Saturday, when their car traded paint with a Porsche 911 RSR.

The race was won for the third time in a row by veteran German driver Timo Bernhard driving a Porshe.
