A greedy Dallas, Texas food truck owner may have just ruined her entire reputation and trust after she swindled a well-known content creator, Keith Lee.

RUINING THEIR SHOT AT INSTANT SUCCESS

Keith Lee, a content creator known for boosting restaurant businesses through his reviews, recently encountered a challenging situation with a Dallas food truck, Sweetly Seasoned.

During his cross-country food tour, Lee aimed to support the newly relocated Sweetly Seasoned by distributing a generous $4,000 tip among the food truck's staff and local service providers.

He intended $1,000 each for a barber and a braider present at the event, with the remaining $2,000 for the food truck staff. However, controversy arose when it was claimed that the owner, Kim Viverette, did not follow through with distributing the funds as Lee specified.

FOOD TRUCK OWNER POCKETS ALL THE TIPS

The incident sparked a backlash against Sweetly Seasoned after allegations surfaced that Viverette kept the entire tip for herself, neglecting to share it with the barber and braider as intended. This led to public disappointment and criticism, especially from those directly affected.

KEITH LEE RESPONDS

Responding to the outcry, Lee expressed his dismay, stating that the decision to not distribute the money as he had requested was a misunderstanding of his intentions. He emphasized the importance of following through on goodwill gestures as intended.

APOLOGY NOT ACCEPTED

In light of the controversy, Sweetly Seasoned issued an apology on social media, acknowledging the misunderstanding and promising to rectify the situation by releasing all funds as originally intended. However, online users quickly rejected the apology, claiming it was insincere and back-handed.
