Luke Perry’s Son Returns to Wrestling and His Daughter Flies Back to Africa a Month After His Death
Luke Perry tragically passed away just over a month ago, and as the dust settles his children are trying to get back into the swing of the lives they led before his death.
On Saturday (April 6), the actor's son Jack made his return to the ring, where he wrestles under the moniker "Jungle Boy." He announced the news on Instagram with a compilation video from his match. "I’m not sure I’ll ever be ready, but I’m back," the 21-year-old captioned the post. "Thanks for all the love and support."
The Riverdale star's daughter, Sophie, had been traveling in Africa when her father suffered a stroke. She rushed back to be with him during his final days, and on Sunday (April 7) revealed via Instagram that she had gone back to Malawi.
"First few days back in Malawi have been very emotional but it feels right to come back, to finish what I started, to do the most with whatever time we have left," she explained. "I recently learned that may not be as much time as we think. It was quick and scary to leave home again so soon, but there’s a job to be done, and someone to make proud. Also excuse my 'post 30 hours o travel' face."
Luke died on March 4 after suffering a massive stroke. He was 52 years old.
