Man Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle in Corpus Christi

A man is dead following a tragic traffic incident in Corpus Christi .

Police responded to reports of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle just after 5 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found the man had died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained there and cooperated with authorities.

Investigators determined the man had intentionally stepped into traffic before being struck. The road was closed for several hours as officers worked to gather evidence.

The man’s identity has not been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
