Man Invents Car Fueled by Whiskey
In an effort to create the world's manliest car, 62-year-old Mickey Nilsson has transformed a pile of junk into a sleek vehicle that runs strictly on Bourbon Whiskey.
The Kentucky man says he was inspired by Caractacus Potts, the wacky inventor played by Dick Van Dyke in 1968's 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.'
Nilsson began the project last October after the 'American Pickers'' Mike Wolf and Frank Fritz visited him hoping to buy a few bits of rusty junk. The two made a joke about the usability of his old moonshine still, which then prompted Nillson to actually put it to use.
According to the Daily Load, the 62-year-old spent the following 6 months crafting his one-of-a-kind automobile. It runs on whiskey and has even attracted the attention of President Obama.
We'll drink to that.
