McDonalds wants to thank the men and women working in the medical field during COVID-19 by offering up free 'Thank You Meals' now through May 5.

It was announced on their website Tuesday that starting Wednesday, police officers, firefighters, healthcare workers and paramedics can get a free breakfast, lunch or dinner packaged in a Happy Meal box when they show their work ID badge or show up dressed in uniform.

Breakfast options include either an Egg McMuffin, Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit or Chicken McGriddles, along with a hash brown and drink (soft drink, hot coffee or tea). For lunch and dinner you have the choice of a Double Cheeseburger, 6 piece Chicken McNuggets or a Filet-O-Fish with small fries and a drink (soft drink, hot coffee or tea).

To redeem your 'Thank You Meal' ask for it at the drive-thru or carry out. Then, select your meal of choice from the options. Next, show your proof of employment (uniform or work ID badge) and that's it! The offer is good for one free meal per day throughout the promotion.
