It's that time of year again when everyone is praising their mother on how much they mean to them and/or how much they love them. Honestly I don't know where to start. My mother has never left my brother's or my side our entire lives. She is truly an amazing woman inside and out. While working full time and going back to school to finish her Masters degree, she never seemed to let worst get to her. She might have had a bad day or school work was getting harder but she always was there to help us with anything we ever needed at any time of day. When she finished school and graduation time came we couldn't have been anymore proud of our Mom than we were that day. She knew what she wanted and went for it but never neglected her children. She was at every Christmas or band concert, award ceremony, open house and small little pageants we ever had no matter what was going on. Growing up of course I didn't like her so much when I was in trouble but at the end of the day all she would say was "I'm only hard on you because I love you". Whether we excelled at something or fall flat on our face she has always been there to help us back up, brush us off and say "Let's try that again". She always pushes us to do the best we can do but never makes us feel terrible for failing. We may never like what she has to say when we ask what she thinks but at the end of the day it's always for the best. At our ages we finally understand that what she says will happen usually does happen. She is the type of woman I aspire to be. We couldn't be anymore proud to call her Mom everyday. From Chris and I, Mommy we love you and could never thank you enough for everything you have ever done for us. We love you!
