Esmarelda Upton confronted two Indian American women while walking through a parking lot in Plano. According to the arrest affidavit, Upton became agitated when she was called a "white woman" by a group of other women.

Upton confronted the group and became hysterical, yelling racial slurs and threats at the women. Upton yelled, "If things are so great in your country, then stay there!" In a fit of rage, she continued, screaming "We don't want you here, I hate you f****** Indians."

"It was very disturbing, I'm still shaking inside," said one of the victims. A few people began recording the incident when Upton began to escalate the situation. She is seen on camera hitting one of the women while savaging telling her, "I paid my f****** way here!"

Upton is seen walking towards one of the women as she begins scrummaging through her purse, "I swear to God I'm going to shoot your f****** brains out" if she didn't stop recording.

UPTON'S EXPLANATION

When Upton was questioned by police, she admitted to hitting the woman but explained it was because she was recording her and saying she was doing things that she wasn't actually doing. She went on to say, "That's just what they do, just like the Black people."
