Rockport-Fulton is One of the Best in the Nation

Rockport-Fulton has been named one of the best Coastal Small Towns in the nation from the 10 Best Readers Choice Travel awards contest powered by USA Today.

The towns that make this list must  have a population of less than 25,000 people and Rockport came in #4 on the list.  Check out the full list by clicking here.

This is not the first time that Rockport has made this list, it also received top 5 honors in 2015, 2016,2019 and this year.

I personally love going to Rockport to eat, fish, and just to hang out on the water.  They also have this amazing restaurant called the  Boiling Pot, which is FANTASTIC!  If you haven't eaten there, you don't know what you are missing.  Check out this video.

I also have another fond memory of Rockport, I got to shake the hand of a living legend.   A couple of years ago, on a radio assignment.  I made the trip to cover a press-conference from George Strait about Rockport's recovery from Hurricane Harvey.  After the conference, I had the pleasure of chatting with and shaking King George's hand.  Talk about a close up.
