Schroeder Hall Has a Big December Planned

Yesterday, we learned that the second-oldest dancehall in Texas would be ceasing live music shows with their final live show scheduled for New Year's Eve featuring Giovanni and the Hired Guns. While Schroeder will not be part of the live music scene anymore. They will now be available for wedding events for 2023 and beyond. What a great rustic venue to make wedding memories. So the building will still live on! Hopefully, the state will recognize the hall as a historic landmark in the near future.

Schroeder Hall issued this statement yesterday via Facebook...

"Thank you to everyone that has supported Schroeder Hall and us. There have been some exceptional patrons that have supported us in the last few years, and we thank you from the bottom of ours hearts. Thank you to everyone that worked so hard behind the scenes to try and keep this treasure going. Your efforts were very appreciated. An especially heartfelt thank you to all the artists that have supported us, graced our stage, and made Schroeder Hall so special."

"We are currently looking for a 10+ acre property in Texas to build a new 1500 capacity music venue plus outdoor amphitheater to continue what we have done here, only on a larger scale. We’ll be bringing our entire team to make our new place as special as Schroeder Hall was! We look forward to seeing the artists we love performing on stage at “The Texas House of Music” some day in the future!"
