The Conchords are officially making a return Flight. HBO confirms that Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement will return to HBO in their musical roles with a new hour-long Flight of the Conchords reunion special, just in time for spring.

And lo, Game of Thrones has come to yet another end with last night’s “The Winds of Winter,” an explosive climax with a higher body count than usual, thanks to Cersei’s fiery wiles. One death certainly hit harder than all the rest, though apparently the series-long star had asked for an even earlier end to their character.

It’s kind of incredible that Danny McBride is capable of essentially playing variations on the same obnoxious, narcissistic and myopic character without audiences ever growing tired of his schtick. Unlike similarly repetitive character actors, McBride continues to both amaze and amuse with his crassly inappropriate and delightfully dumb humor, and Vice Principals is no exception. HBO’s latest miniseries is a more than worthy successor to Eastbound and Down, reuniting McBride with directors Jody Hill and David Gordon Green for another devious comedy — this time set in the world of high school administration.

Game of Thrones didn’t drop too many spoilers of George R.R. Martin’s Winds of Winter by the first trailer, but the author himself has acknowledged the likelihood of some readers learning ahead of others. We don’t yet know when to expect Book 6 either, but don’t expect Martin to finish the series with A Dream of Spring ahead of its HBO counterpart, unless Game of Thrones runs upwards of 10 seasons.
