It’s official! Demi Lovato is now an ‘X Factor‘ judge.

After months of speculation, stops and starts, the worst kept secret in the entertainment business has been revealed. Britney Spears has officially signed her deal to be a judge on ‘X Factor.’

Who’s the latest A-lister to have talks with ‘X Factor‘ producers? None other than Demi Lovato!

Commercials may not be her thing, but perhaps television is. Mary J. Blige has signed on to be a judge on ‘Opening Act,’ a talent search-style reality TV show set to air on the E! network.

With Britney Spears close to announcing her ‘X Factor‘ deal, another person is joining the staff of the Fox show: her fiance and future co-conservator, Jason Trawick.

Those are some big shoes (and pipes!) to fill! One of Justin Bieber‘s producers has named ‘X Factor‘ winner Melanie Amaro the next Whitney Houston.
