Texas Man Tragically Murders Wife In A Twisted Murder-Suicide
In a tragic twist of fate, a domestically violent relationship in East Texas ended with a woman shot dead during a murder-suicide attempt. While recovering in the hospital, Raymond Wade, 72, has been charged with the murder of his wife.
EAST TEXAS SHOOTING IN THE NAME OF LOVE
The fatal incident occurred around 9 a.m. on Saturday at a residence in Larue, Texas. Sherriff deputies quickly responded to a call for a possible murder-suicide. When deputies arrived they walked into a bloody, violent scene.
Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said deputies found a man and woman in the home with gunshot wounds. The man was identified as Raymond Wade, and the female was identified as Rhonda.

Tragically, Rhonda, who was married to Wade, did not survive her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by investigators. 72-year-old Wade was still alive and taken to the hospital.
INVESTIGATION REVEALS A MURDER-SUICIDE
Investigators determined the horrific incident was part of an attempted murder-suicide. Details reveal that Wade fatally shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself. Sherriff Hillhouse explained that the couple was having marital problems.
While Wade lay in the hospital recovering from his self-inflicted gunshot wounds, a warrant was obtained for his arrest and he was charged with murder.
