Texas Strip Club Reopens At Midnight, Owner Claims It’s A Restaurant
Well I guess he tried. A for effort? Whatever you may want to call it, police in Houston called it a failed attempt at trying to get business.
According to local news outlet KTRK, the owner of Club Onyx told responding police officers that his establishment was a restaurant with entertainers and that under Phase 1 of reopening the state of Texas, he's allowed to be open.
Good try buddy. A restaurant with entertainers? The police officers didn't buy it either. The officers then ordered the strip club to shut down.
The owner claimed that no lap dances were being offered, and that all the entertainers wore masks.
After being told he could have charges coming, the owner decided to close his doors and pack up patrons' food to go.
