Texas Teen Robbed and Violently Stabbed Multiple Times
A teenage cashier at Kroger was stabbed during a terrifying robbery in Fort Worth, Texas.
A ROBBERY INSIDE TEXAS GROCERY STORE
According to police, a man entered a Kroger grocery store in Fort Worth, Texas. The man, identified as Michael Pitts, approached a young female cashier and engaged in a robbery.
ROBBERY ESCALATES INTO A VIOLENT ATTACK
The robbery escalated to a terrifying attack and the suspect began to stab the female cashier. Police reveal the young girl was stabbed "several times" in the abdomen by Pitts.
The girl was rushed to the hospital in critical but stable, condition. Police surrounded the Kroger store for a few hours to investigate the situation.
KROGER ADDRESSES THE TERRIFYING INCIDENT
Kroger released a statement acknowledging the unfortunate event, "The entire Kroger family offers our thoughts, prayers, and support to our associate and their family." The store shut down for the remainder of the day.
