It looks like Texas was taking the song. "Take This Job and Shove It" too seriously!

According to the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, more than 14,000 Texans were quitting their jobs every day in September a news report from KHOU11 offers.

According to the article, in September alone, over 439,000 Texans called it quits but the report offers something very telling when it comes to Texans. Texas had the largest number of folks quitting in September than any other state! Just behind California!

Not all of those who quit filed for unemployment. In fact, the article and following Youtube video from WFAA offers that many Texans who quit their jobs started their own businesses or retired now that the stock market bounced back from the COVID stock market drops.

With that in mind, is it really fair to call us the job quitting capital of the US?
