Travis Scott and Post Malone to Headline 2019 Firefly Festival
It looks like Travis Scott and Post Malone are securing the bag for next year. Yesterday (Dec. 10), AEG Presents announced that the two artists are set to headline the 2019 Firefly Festival.
The eighth annual festival will take place from June 21-23. La Flame will headline Saturday (June 22) and Post will close out the festival on Sunday (June 23). The East Coast's largest music and camping festival will also feature performances from Tyler, The Creator, Brockhampton, DJ Snake, Lauren Daigle and more.
In addition to the performances, next year's festival will also include the launch of the Start Participating and Receive Karma Program (S.P.A.R.K.), which will help Firefly fans connect during the festival. The program encourages meaningful interactions through meetups, volunteering opportunities and more.
Both the "Sicko Mode" rapper and "Sunflower" artist have had a busy year and their hard work is paying off. Post is nominated for four Grammys including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Rap Performance and Best Pop Solo Performance at the 2019 Grammy Awards. As for Travis, his Grammy nominations include Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Album.
Firefly Festival's tickets are available for purchase starting on Friday (Dec. 14) at 12 p.m. EST. In the meantime, check out the video announcing the festival below.
