Texas Rancher Offers Elon Musk 100 Acres to Move Twitter to Texas
Texas has really been evolving as a state. We house the headquarters for some of the most massive companies like Southwest Airlines and AT&T; not to mention we have a SpaceX launch site among other related spaces.
Now, Texans are pushing for the next big move: Twitter. Ever since Elon Musk shelled out around $44 billion to buy Twitter, Texans have been pleading for him to move headquarters to the lone star state.
FREE LAND FOR TWITTER
One Texas rancher is seriously passionate about this request, even offering up 100 acres to Musk, no charge if he moved Twitter to that land.
WELCOME TO TWITTER, TEXAS
If that's not incentive enough, our very own Governor Abbott has hopped on the Twitter train offering another option. Abbott throws the idea of renaming the entire city "Twitter, Texas" if Twitter makes the 1500-mile move.
HILARIOUS LOCAL MEMES
Safe to say, many Texans are welcoming the potential move. Even those in the Crossroads are hoping in on some Elon Musk amusement. Here are some of the hilarious memes floating around our city right now.
