Statistics for the Week: Went 2-0 in the circle with a 0.88 ERA in wins over Prairie View A&M and Jarvis Christian. Pitched eight innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and four walks, with seven strikeouts. She had one complete game and opponents hit 0.161 against her. She was also among the team leaders at the plate as she compiled a .667 batting average going 4-for-6 with a team high eight RBI, two runs scored, a double and a triple. She had a 1.167 slugging percentage and a .667 on-base percentage.
What advice would you give to a younger player about the sport you are involved in that would help them improve? Take one day at a time, and use every opportunity to get better.
What is you background and experience in the sport you participate in? I’ve been playing since I was 8. Won the Little League state championship and played select for Austin Storm, Houston Power and Texas Venom. I played at Edna High School and Industrial High School.
What is the song you like to hear for your walk-up music or that gets you into the mood for the game? Hip-Hop
