Vanillia Ice is Not Canceling Friday’s Show in Austin

Last Friday, Governor Greg Abbott announced all bars to close.  This decisions has been a hot topic issue.

According to austinchronicle.com,  Emerald Point Bar & Grille and Vanilla Ice are not listening to that order!  Vanilla Ice is scheduled to perform at Emerald Point Bar & Grill on Friday night and the show will go on.

The venue is located on Lake Travis and is categorized as a restaurant!  Even though more than 51% of sales comes from alcohol, the restaurant is using their 'restaurant' designation as a way around Abbott's order.

The Independence Day Throwback Beach Party will limit capacity at 2,500. Tickets prices  range from  $25-$300.
