If you’re already stocking up on candy and pulling out the costumes, here’s something to circle on the calendar in Victoria.
On Tuesday, October 22 from 5–9 PM, the Victoria Community Center, located at 2905 E North Street, is turning into a Halloween party.
This event is for all ages. Little ones can line up for safe trick-or-treating, the big kids can test their bravery in the haunted house, and parents get a front-row seat to some of the funniest, creepiest, and most creative looks in the costume contest.
The haunted house will be set up inside the Community Center and promises plenty of scary fun scenes spread across the annex, but don’t worry, there’s nothing too over the top for younger kids. Inside the Dome there will be booths with local vendors who will be stocked up with goodies.
This is a chance that lets everyone grab candy without the stress of going door-to-door. Think of it as one big, family-sized block party,  just with ghosts, goblins, and a lot more sugar.
Victoria families look forward to this every year because it’s safe, indoors, and packed with things to keep the kids busy. And let’s be honest, it’s also a chance for parents to show off their own costumes and let their kids trick or treat stress-free.
Whether you’re rocking a DIY look or going full Disney princess, the stage is yours during the costume contest.
So grab the costumes, empty out those pillowcases, and head to the Victoria Community Center on October 22. Halloween only comes once a year, might as well make it count.

Thanks to Detar Medical Group, Jag Metals, Townsquare Media, and the City of Victoria for making this happen!
