The summer heat isn't far away. Good thing the City of Victoria just announced on Friday that the splash pads will now reopen 7 days a week to help Victorians beat the heat.

Splash Pads Reopen in Victoria

In a press release from the City of Victoria, two of the city's splash pads are once again ready for fun in the sun. There are three splash pads in Victoria, but right now only two are open for use with the splash pad at the Community Park on Ben Wilson closed for repairs.

This leaves us with the Ethel Lee Tracy Splash Pad located at 1507 Placido Benavides Drive and the Lone Tree Creek Splash Pad at 4009 E. Airline Road.

Splash Pad Hours of Operation

Beginning April 24th, both the Ethel Lee Tracy Splash Pad and the Lone Tree Creek Splash pad will be open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Extra Safety Measures

The city will clean and sanitize the splash pads each morning while ultraviolet light will be used to clean the water throughout each day of use.

How Can I Reserve a Splash Pad for an Event?
