Victoria residents will once again be able to browse the Bronte room for bargain-priced books when the Friends of the Library hosts its first book sale since January of last year!
The book sale will be in the Victoria Public Library’s Bronte Room 9 a.m.-6 p.m. May 17-21 and 10 a.m. to noon.
May 16th is reserved for members of the Friends of the Library. Memberships cost $10 per year and can be renewed at the Victoria Public Library. Bonus- 2020 memberships will be honored at the early sale.
Gently used books of ALL genres, including audiobooks, CDs and DVDs will be available, with books costing between $0.25 and $1. Cash or check only, no CCs will not be accepted. May 20-22, all items will be half price.
Want to get rid of your old books? The VPL is taking donations too!
Here is my favorite part, May 21-22, residents can pay $1 to fill their Friends of the Library tote bags with as many items as they can carry. Residents can refill their tote bags for $1 as many times as they want. Tote bags can be purchased from the library for $5 and can be used at future sales.
Proceeds from the sale will fund event programming for children and adults at the library. We are talking FUN programming like this event coming in April- a perfect date night... Hunt and Catch a Killer in Victoria!
