Why Did a Family Put Kids in the Trunk of a Car?

It might be time for a bigger car.

Video from Jacksonville, Fla., featuring adults recently putting children in the trunk of a car in a parking lot has sparked some raised eyebrows.

In the video, several grown adults stand outside what appears to be a small car while a child gets into the trunk.

The group, presumably a family, had gone into a nearby Cici's Pizza, but could not afford to pay for the food and they left, even after a manager offered a discounted rate.

A woman with the children then allegedly yelled at a customer for recording the incident. The Department of Children and Families is now looking into the matter.
