Woman Arrested 396 Times Is Really, Truly, Seriously Ready to Be a Good Citizen [VIDEO]

Not since Sam Malone was running ‘Cheers’ has someone spent so much time behind bars.

Shermain Miles, 52, of Chicago, has been arrested a staggering 396 times in the last 35 years. That’s slightly more than 11 times a year and nearly once a month.

Miles’ record is thicker than your gut after Thanksgiving dinner, with crimes running the gamut from disorderly conduct to theft.

Earlier this week, Miles was released from jail after nearly a year for assaulting a city councilman.

Miles claims her issues stem from alcohol and drugs and that she plans to clean up her life. And if there’s one person you can trust to stick to her word, it’s someone who’s been arrested 396 times.
