Woman Gets Huge Surprise Biting into Cocaine-Filled Hot Dog
A woman got an extra illicit item in her Sonic order after an employee accidentally added a 'special spice' to her hot dog.
WOMAN GETS MOUTHFUL OF COCAINE
Celine Gonzales drove to Sonic to pick up some food. Gonzales received her order, opened up her bag, and took out her hot dog. She took a bite out of her hot dog but suddenly realized something was wrong with her food.
POLICE TEST WHITE SUBSTANCE
Gonzales quickly spits out her hotdog and was shocked at what she found. A small plastic bag with a white powdery substance inside had been inside her mouth. Police were quickly called, and when they took the bag for testing, they learned the mysterious substance had tested positive for cocaine.
Another Sonic customer was just as startled when she learned of the incident, "I think that’s pretty scary. We come here to get food for our families, and if a child found that it could have been pretty bad or deadly," she said after ordering food from the same Sonic.
A SONIC EMPLOYEE IDENTIFIED AS SUSPECT
Officers were able to identify Sonic employee, Jeffrey David Salazar as the culprit. When police reviewed security footage, 54-year-old Salazar was seen making a "transaction" with a female employee."
The video footage also shows Salazar in the kitchen making Gonzales' order. Suddenly, his "body language suddenly changes." He looks panicked as he begins frantically looking for something.
Salazar ultimately admitted he bought the cocaine from a woman in the parking lot.
