Google has lost an estimated $1.7 million dollars in ad revenue during a brief YouTube outage. As reported by Fox Business. YouTube was out for just under 40 minutes. When I got to work this morning, I opened my usual pages including YouTube and I got a 'something went wrong' message.

Apparently, YouTube wasn't the only Google services that were down.  Gmail and other Google platforms were also having problems.  The short-lived outage prevented many people from watching YouTube videos, accessing their Google Docs, or sending email on Gmail.  Google Classroom was also out which meant that students were not able to access their classes.  As of 7 am central, most services were back up but some were still having trouble with Gmail. The outage was not only felt in the United States, it affected countries throughout the world.  Just a couple of months ago, Facebook went down and people lost it.  The question is how did we survive before social media?  SCROLL DOWN TO TAKE A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE:
