Need something to do this weekend? Head on down to the Nave Museum this weekend. You will experience a whole new kind of art... and way to drive. It’s time for the second annual Art Car Central at the Nave Museum.

What’s that you ask? Well, let me tell you.

It’s all kinds of cars covered in all kinds of stuff…like cars covered in mirrors, knick knacks, cars that can hop (and it looks like a rabbit). Last year I saw a giant cockroach and a space ship. They are too unique to try to describe.

Some of the cars have such detail you can walk around it two or three times and still not see everything there is to see about it. I’m no car enthusiast by any means... I’m just grateful my white SUV gets me from A to B. So if I can say that it’s a car show worth stopping by then it’s really something different. It’s a great family event and from what I can tell the weather is going to be great for it.

Just to name a few of the featured cars, a 1984 VW Rabbit Diesel covered with Styrofoam, fake fur, Easter eggs and Easter figurines who goes by “Rex Rabbit”. Also featured will be “Phantoms”, DC39: Victory Over Sin”, and “Our Lady of Transportation”. Come see them for yourself.

So if you are looking for something to do with or without the kids this Saturday afternoon head on down to The Nave Museum at this Saturday at 306 W. Commercial just down the street from Five Points from 12 to 4 pm.
