Art Show & Competition
Friday, September 28th is the deadline to enter our Texana Art Show & Competition. It’s free to enter and you’ll have a chance to win one of two cash prizes. Plus you’ll have a chance to demonstrate your artistic talent and sell your art at Bootfest on Saturday. Please email Melinda Rogers at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more.
Bootfest wouldn’t be complete without talented boot makers on hand, ready to help you design a pair (or two) of custom made boots. Plan to stop by the three boot makers who will be set up on De Leon Plaza on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Henry Carmargo of Mercerdes, Texas, will be back with us again this year and joining him will be Bob’s Leather Shop, Austwell, Texas, and Don’s Custom Boots & Shoe Repair of Victoria. Don’s Custom Boots will also be offering a boot shine service.
Help us launch our inaugural Bootfest Washer Tournament, another FREE Bootfest event that will be held on Saturday morning. Join in the fun and win a prize if your team comes in first or second place. Please email Joel Novosad at email@example.com to register today.
For people who like to stay busy, volunteering at Bootfest is the perfect blend of activities. You can even volunteer for awhile in one area, take a break and volunteer again in a different festival area. Choose to help at the beer booths, ticket booths, water booth, Kids Corral, volunteer hospitality or t-shirt/koozie sales booth. You’ll have so much fun, you won’t realize you’re working! Please email Marie Lester at cmlester@victoriatx. to sign up.
